The time to set up business is reduced from 72 hours to two hours online.

One of the laudable measures taken by government of recent is the establishing www.mybsuiness.cm for the creation of enterprises in Cameroon. The effectiveness of the measure is the reduction of the 72 hour duration for the creation of an enterprise to two hours in centers located in Garoua, Douala and Yaounde.
Through the One Stop Shop Enterprise Creation Center, which went operational a few months ago, the government set up the website as well as simplified procedures for the creation of enterprises. The latter have been further simplified, the cost and duration more and more reduced. Furthermore, since May 19, 2016, the procedures have progressively become virtual with the help of the website.
Jean Marie Louis Badga, General Manager of the center, revealed these figures during a two-day seminar to reinforcing the managerial capacity of personnel that kicked off in Douala, May 23. The seminar was opened by Njikam Aboubakar, Inspector General at the Littoral Governor’s Office.
