Airports: Efforts Doubled To Provide Parking Spaces

Transport Minister Edgard Alain Mebe Ngo’o  presented the efforts to Senators in a plenary sitting on June 21, 2017

 

The Minister of Transport, Edgard Alain Mebe Ngo’o  on June 21, 2017 explained to Senators efforts the government  is making to facilitate access and parking of vehicles in Cameroon’s airports, singling out the Yaounde Nsimalen International Airport and the Douala International Airport. He  answered Senator Mama Jean Marie’s question  in a  question time plenary sitting chaired by Senate President, Marcel Niat Njifenji.
As for the Yaounde Nsimalen International Airport, the Minister said about 1,500 parking spaces have been provided and the airport authorities have also installed a security system to  filter movement to and from the airport. Concerning the Douala International Airport, he talked of  vehicle parking spaces being provided.
