Manchester City goalkeeper, Claudio Bravo was the hero as his team reached the final of the Confederations Cup.

Chile has qualified for the final of the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup in Russia. They picked their qualification ticket on Wednesday June 28, 2017 after beating Portugal 3-0 through penalty kicks in first semi-final game at the Kazan Arena in Russia. Chile will play against Germany in the final on Sunday July 25, 2017 following their Mexico 4-1 defeat in the second semi-final game yesterday. It was a tough game as both teams put up brilliant performances till the end. Only penalty kicks could determine the first team to grab the final ticket. Manchester City goalkeeper Claudio Bravo was the hero as Chile reached the Confederations Cup final by beating Portugal on penalties. Bravo put up an extraordinary performance when he saved all three penalties in the shootouts to send his team to the final of the Confederations Cup. Efforts made by Ricardo Quaresma, Joao Moutinho and Nani were grounded by Bravo as Chile converted all their spot-kicks.
