Kidnapped D.O, Social Affairs Delegate: Rescue Operation Intensifies In Batibo

Momo SDO, Monono Absalom Woloa mobilizes population to collaborate in the search.

Batibo sub division and the North West region is once again at a loss since the Regional Delegate of Social Affairs, Animbom Aaron Yong was kidnapped by unknown gunmen in the neighborhood of Ambo on Saturday February 24, 2018.

The Regional Delegate was reportedly on his way back from a funeral. Barely a few kilometers from the funeral in Angie village, the Delegate was surrendered by gunmen who reportedly set his car ablaze before driving off with the Delegate on a motorcycle, leaving his driver.

Momo SDO, Monono Absalom Woloa later went sizing up the situation in Ambo where he mobilized the population to cooperate in efforts by the administration and security officers to rescue the missing Delegate and D.O of Batibo, earlier kidnapped on February 11, 2018 in Batibo.

At press time on Monday 26 February 2018, Momo SDO, Monono Absalom Woloa told Cameroon Tribune in a telephone chat that the search has intensified. The SDO said hints from some suspects arrested are helping matters in the search for the missing D.O and Delegate .
