This was during celebrations marking the 34th anniversary of President Paul Biya at the helm of the State at the Mbouda ceremonial ground on November, 6, 2016.
The militants of the Cameroon Peoples’ Democratic Movement (CPDM) for Bamboutos Central 1 have re-affirmed their total attachment and commitment to President Paul Biya’s New deal policy, and his major accomplishment programme, promising without any reserve to march forward with him in his 2035 emerging economy initiative programme.
This confirmation is contained in a motion of support addressed to President Paul Biya at the end of celebration in Mbouda on 6th November 2016 to mark the 34th anniversary of the New Deal. The militants pledged their support to President Paul Biya for his tireless struggle in the fight against the Boko Haram insurgency in the Far North Region and the concern expressed to the victims of the Eseka train catastrophe.
Addressing the militants of the CPDM and other friendly political parties at the Mbouda Grandstand, Minister Nganou Djoumessi Emmanuel, CPDM Central Committee Delegate to the anniversary celebration, said it was important that the population of Bamboutos in general and Mbouda in particular rejoices over what he described as “President Paul Biya’s excellent socio-economic and political achievements, seriousness of purpose and exemplary managerial ability,” that has helped maintained long-standing peace, stability, democracy and development in Cameroon in the past 34 years. He said President Biya’s activities at the helm of the State for 34 years have made the population of Bamboutos, especially the rural sector, feel at home.
