Bangante: Seven Die In Road Accident In Banekane

Seven persons are reported to have died in a road accident on the Bangangte-Yaounde highway in the morning of Tuesday, February 22, 2022. According to eyewitnesses, the accident occurred in Banekane neighbourhourd, situated about 3 km from Bangangte town in Nde Division of West Region. Precisely on the stretch of road linking Bangangte and Tonga Subdivision.
A 30-seat transport bus belonging to Ledoux Voyages, which left Mbouda in Bamoutous Division of West Region for Yaounde, had a head-on collision with a heavy duty truck that left Bangangte and entered the highway without respecting the Highway Code.
