Cup of Cameroon Eight Finals: Teams know 8th Finals Opponents

The 16 teams to take part in the next round of the Cup of Cameroon competition now know their opponents. This was the outcome of the draw for the eighth, quarter and semi-finals of the 2023 edition of the Cup of Cameroon that took place at the headquarters of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) in Tsinga, yesterday June 6, 2023. A total of 16 teams left in the competition are Stade FC of Bertoua, Dynamo FC of Douala, CFF Les Champions of Garoua, Hilltop Strikers of Bamendakwe, AS FAP of Yaounde, Colombe of Dja and Lobo, Eding Sport FC, Fovu of Baham, Stade Renard of Melong, PWD Bamenda, Victoria United of Limbe, Union Sportive of Douala, Coton Sport of Garoua, Avion Academy of Douala, Canon Yaounde and Stade Bandjoun. 
In this year’s 16th finals, some regional clubs surprised football public with brilliant performances to qualify for the eighth finals last weekend. They are Hilltop Strikers, Les Champions of Garoua and Stade of Bandjoun. The three teams will be stopping at nothing to reach the finals. Stade of Bandjoun created the greatest surprise in the 16th finals when they eliminated vice champions of Cameroon, Bamboutos of Mbouda beating them 2-1. The Mangwa Boys who won the season Super Cup last year are ending the season without a trophy. Hilltop Strikers of Bamendakwe eliminated Foudre of Akonolinga and Les Champions de Garoua beat Edu Sports Academy of Yaounde. The date for the eighth finals, quarterfinals and semi-finals will be made public by FECAFOOT in the days ahead.
