Cup of Cameroon 2024 : Finalists Known

The teams that will play the 2024 edition of the Cup of Cameroon are now known. They are Colombe Sportive of Dja and Lobo and Aigle Royal of Menoua. The two teams picked their qualification tickets after semi-final matches played on Saturday, June 15, 2024 in Yaounde and Mbankomo. The race for the Cameroon Cup is over for Elite two and amateur regional league clubs. ISOHSA of Limbe and Mintack FC of Upper Sanaga missed out on the chance to snatch a ticket to the Cameroon Cup final. Aigle Royal of Menoua beat Mintack FC of the Upper Sanaga 1-0 in a grueling encounter at the FECAFOOT Technical Centre in Odza to cheer the teams. Thousands of fans Yaounde and elsewhere thronged the venue to cheer the teams.
Aigle Royal began well dominating the game from the start but they missed their chances. Mintack FC on their part put up a strong fight but they squandered their scoring chances. At half time, the score line was 0-0. On resumption Aigle Royal of Menoua came up much stronger and determined to win. The coach of Aigle, Gaston Temfack had made some replacements during half time that helped improve their game.  In the 85th minute, William Ekanga Lobe scored the lone goal of the game. Surprised by the goal, Mintack FC tried to get back into the game, but to no avail. All efforts by Mintack FC to equalise were futile. Aigle Royal of Menoua carried the day...
