U-20 World Cup: Morocco Crowned Champions

The Moroccan National U-20 team etched their name in football history after lifting their maiden FIFA U-20 World Cup trophy, defeating Argentina, 2-0 at the final played at the Julio Martinez Pradanos National Stadium in Santiago, Chile, on October 19, 2025. During the match, excitement filled the air when the Man-of-the-Match, Yasser Zbiri netted twice in the first half, with the first goal scored barely 15 minutes into the game, after a free-kick into the top right corner of the pole. The second goal came at the 28th minute of play after a long pass from the Watford winger, Othmane Maamma.
