Vincent Aboubakar : Game Changer

The 30-year-old Indomitable Lions’ striker was voted Man of the Match after scoring one goal and making one assist in Cameroon’s draw against Serbia yesterday.

Indomitable Lions’ striker, Vincent Aboubakar left fans echoing his name in praise after a stunning second-half display as Cameroon earned a deserved draw against Serbia at the on-going FIFA World Cup in Qatar. The 30-year-old was brought in at the 55th minute when the Serbians were drowning the Cameroonians 3-1. The Al Nassr striker wasted little time in taking the game by the scruff of the neck, escaping Serbia’s offside trap to score at the 63rd minute and reduce the goal gap to 3-2. He carefully scooped the ball over the Serbian goalkeeper to touch the back of the net. He was scoring what was described by fans as one of the best goals of the tournament so far after spending just about 10 minutes on the pitch. Few minutes after his goal, he then broke free and assisted Bayern Munich striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting to score the third and equaliser for team Cameroon.
