Police Honour For Fallen Officer

The late Third Grade Assistant Superintendent of Police, Enyegue Ahanda André Faustin, was buried in Nkolfoulou, Soa, on October 8, 2016.

 

It was a rather gloomy atmosphere at the esplanade of the Yaounde Advanced Police College on October 6, 2016. The event was the farewell ceremony for the late Third Grade Assistant Superintendent of Police, Enyegue Ahanda André Faustin, who died on September 18, 2016 in Foumban in the West Region after being crushed at a checkpoint by a runaway driver.

The ceremony was presided by the Delegate General for National Security, Martin Mbarga Nguele. As the casket was driven to the ceremonial grounds, sadness could be seen on the faces of relatives, colleagues and friends from far and near who came out in their numbers to pay him homage. Martin Mbarga Nguele, in the traditional police manner, bowed before the casket to bid the last farewell to the fallen officer.
