SDF candidates still Awaited

The National Executive Committee, NEC of the party is still doing ground works to select the best.

With the up coming senatorial and presidential elections, the Social Democratic Front -SDF  party is yet to come out with a list of candidates to represent the party. Speculations were high as to the party announcing their candidates but this was watered down as the last NEC meeting could not hurriedly produce their list.

The emergency NEC meeting that took place last Friday February 9 was aimed at finalising plans towards the party's National convention to take place  from the 22 -24 of February 2018.The meeting that was chaired by the party's National Chairman Ni John Fru Ndi  was heavily attended by party big wigs.

It emerged from the meeting that all has been set to ensure a hitch free National Convention to take place in Bamenda. With the coming of Senatorial Elections on March 25, the party equally discussed ways to come out with the best candidates and how to win more seats in the Senate.

It was clear in the meeting that no candidate has deposited documents to the party for a presidential candidate. While briefing the press, the mayor of Kumbo Njong Donatus said all has been put in place to ensure that the convention takes place hitch free.
