El Hadj Lawan Bako: UDP Team Leader

The politician and traditionalist is hoping for a place in the sun.

From Boyo Division, North West region, Bochong El Hadj Lawan Bako sounds off as the founding National Chairman of the United Democratic Party (UDP|) on 2nd April 1992.

The politician and traditionalist from the Kom Fondom is leading the UDP team for the Senatorial elections in the North West constituency. 

He emerges as a tried and tested politician after militating in the then CNU Party.  It is on record that El Hadj Lawan Bako was successively YCNU President for the then grand Menchum, covering Wum and Fundong Sub Divisions and later, grand Mezam, covering up to Ngoketunjia Division.

Away from that; El Hadj Lawan  Bako is the spokesperson of the Presidential majority since October, 1992 and sounds off as a perfect manager who trained in public administration in Nigeria.
