National Gendarmerie : Three Officials Commissioned

 Colonels Azew Landry, Nke Desiré Malgoire and Tchinda Emmanuel were commissioned yesterday by the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Defence in charge of the National Gendarmerie. 

Appointed on February 21, 2018 by the President of the Republic by Decree N° 2018/166, Colonels Azew Landry, Nke Desiré Malgoire and Tchinda Emmanuel were installed on March 13, 2018, by the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Defence in charge of the National Gendarmerie, Galax Yves Landry Etoga.

Colonel Azew Landry was installed as the Director of Personnel while Colonel Nke Desiré Malgoire and Tchinda Emmanuel took up functions as Inspector Generals, all of the central services of the National Gendarmerie.

 While installing them, Galax Yves Landry Etoga said their appointment was an acknowledgment of services rendered to the nation over time in the preservation of peace, security and national unity. He said they were judged on professional basis as being competent and should therefore endeavour to maintain the confidence bestowed on them.

“I expect good analysis and objective reports on security issues from you. In addition, concrete propositions that can advance the National Gendarmerie positively should be tabled constantly,” he urged.
