Hon. Martin Oyono Supports Lionesses

He encouraged the team with FCFA 3 million on the eve of the final with the Super Falcons of Nigeria.

The Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon despite their defeat in the final of the Women African Cup of Nations 2016, continue to enjoy the support and encouragement of Cameroonians across the board. On the eve of their final that pitted the team against the Super Falcons of Nigeria on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the Yaounde Omnisport Stadium, the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement Member of Parliament from the Ocean Division of the South Region, Martin Oyono supported the female football team with the sum of FCFA 3 million.

Speaking during the ceremony at the Lionesses den at the Yaounde Mont Febe Hotel on Friday, December 2, 2016, he said the performance of the team has come to reawaken hopes the population had in sports.
