In the Men’s category, DUC of Dschang trashed University of Douala 26 goals to 16 meanwhile Dreamsport was beaten by YUC of Yaounde 28 goals to 27. On its part, Phoenix Douala threatened to flaw the tough FANZ of Yaounde but rather ended up with 22 goals as against 24 scored by FANZ. Phoenix’s tough performance did not come as a surprise given that their outings since the beginning of the competition have been remarkable. Still in the Men’s category, FAP Yaounde succeeded to overcome the never tiring MINUH side with 25 goals against 22 in Yaounde. The difference in just three goals is clear indication that the battle on the pitch was that of two equal clubs with equal opportunities. In Mbouda, the AS Vita boys from Yaounde beat AS Bamboutos on home soil, 47 goals to 39. The women had just one encounter over the weekend, which was that of Obala. Just like AS Bamboutos, the Tigresses of Obala succumbed to TKC of Yaounde 43-23 on home soil.
