Registering Public Exams : Hon. Lifaka Supports Fako Youth

The MP made a FCFA 2 million donation last week as they met to chart priorities for national unity and social development.

Young people from Bonavada and Bonjongo Court areas in Buea have renewed their commitment to support and protect State institutions, its properties and the unity of Cameroon.
The public pledge was made on 4 February, 2021, as close to five hundred youth met at the Buea Survey School hall to knit a plan for capita enhancement, social development and general progress with the Member of Parliament from Fako West, Honourable Emilia Monjowa Lifaka.
In the presence of local authorities, traditional rulers and the elite, the youth pleaded for a reliable supply of electricity, pipe borne water and a general improvement on the road network.
Opening discussions, the youth of Bonavada and Bonjongo Court Areas, through their representatives, addressed Honourable Lifaka as a “hunting dog that has brought much protein to the people”. As such, Mbua Oscar Njie, the youth president from Koke, praised the MP as the “epitome of hope to Fako youth” for having satisfied her electorate with various human and social uplifting projects. They praised Honourable Lifaka for offering a standing FCFA 20 million youth-empowerment scholarship programme for training in the Buea-based Opportunities Industrialisation Centre (OIC). The programme, launched close to 10 years ago, has helped to sustain permanent and quick self-employment of hundreds of youth. Of the FCFA 20 million scholarships, some 12 million has been utilized so far.
