2022 World Cup Playoffs : Probable Dates For Cameroon-Algeria

While waiting for FIFA to officialise the programming, it is reported that the double-header might be played on March 26 and 29, 2022.

Effervescence is mounting in Africa as the 10 teams qualified for the playoffs of the 2022 World Cup will soon begin battling for the five spots set aside for the continent in the competition. The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon know that they will have to meet Algeria in this phase of the qualifiers but when and where exactly have been the question posed my stakeholders. However, some progress is made as concerns the dates given that reliable sources say the double-header would be played on March 26 and 29, 2022. At press time yesterday, February 16, 2022, neither the World Football governing body (FIFA) nor the Confederation of African Football (CAF) had officialised this information on their official websites. Nonetheless, hopes are high that it will be done soonest. What is sure is that the first leg will be played in Cameroon and the second leg in Algeria. As for the venue, the Japoma stadium in Douala has been circulating as the pitch that might host the first leg.
