Bafoussam : 2022 AFCON Committees Evaluate Work

It was with much satisfaction that heads of committees that prepared and managed the hosting of the just-ended Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON 2022 TotalEnergies tournament in Pool B in Bafoussam, West Region, presented their reports. The reports showed that committee members exhibited a great deal of sacrifice and flexibility to overcome the many challenges during the competition that lasted for almost a month.
Governor Awa Fonka Augustine, President of the Regional Management Committee for the Bafoussam site, thanked all committee heads, especially the General Coordinator of the Bafoussam site, Kuemo Simon, for galvanizing energies before and during the competition. As a result, the positive results obtained brought honour to the West Region and Cameroon in general, the Governor said.
Attending the evaluation meeting on 16 February, 2022 in Bafoussam were heads of committees like Finance, Transport and Logistics, Communication, Protocol and Reception, Health, Infrastructure, Security, Telecommunication and Translation; as well as the Directors of Kouekong, Bafang and Bangou stadia.
