Rugby World Cup Sevens Qualifiers : Cameroon Earmaks Strategies

The men’s and women’s national teams are preparing for the upcoming competition that will take place from March 12 to 13, 2022 in Bujumbura.

The national men and women’s rugby team will take part in the qualifiers for the Rugby World Cup Sevens qualifiers in Bujumbura, Burundi, from March 12 to 13, 2022. Ahead of the competition, the two teams are preparing for the competition in order to secure tickets for the World Cup. The World Cup has been billed for Cape Town in South Africa from September 9 to 11, 2022.
For the World Cup qualifiers the national women’s rugby team will play against will place against Rwanda, Burundi, Zambia, DR Congo and Congo. In this light the coach of the national women’s team, Serge Enguene has summoned 20 players to camp in Yaounde. The players are training intensively in their hideout in Yaounde in order to avoid any surprises. The training camp began on February 25, 2022 and will run till March 9, 2022 barely a few days to the competition. The players that are training in Yaounde are all home-based players taken from four teams in the country.
