Made in Cameroon : Cures For Snake Bites

The anti-venom is 100 per cent made of natural herbs and is presently sold in pharmacies in Cameroon and beyond.

Snake bites kill thousands of people each year and treatment for snake bite in Cameroon is sometimes very expensive. As a result a new product to treat snakebites has but put in the market. The medication known as Veninserin which has been approved nationally and international is now being sold in pharmacies.
The product which is processed by a Cameroonian has come to reduce the burden of curing snake bite as most often medication that were available to cure snake bit cost above FCFA150,000. Veninserin is the first biological anti venom which treats bites and stings from poisonous insects and reptiles of all species. In a press conference organized by La Societe Transformation Plantes Naturelles et Biologiques -STPN-BIO, the brain behind Veninserin Nsangou Mouhammadou Bachirou explained that Veninserin by definition means venom, serpent, rage and insect. It is made from two main plants namely “peperomia pellucida and cussonia arborea”. The former is recognized for its analgesic, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal properties.
The medicinal use of the latter is recognized for its effectiveness against snake bites and poisonous insect bites.
