2023 National Interpools : ISOHSA Champions

The representative of the South West Region defeated their counterparts of the North West, Bafmeng 2-0 in the final played yesterday July 30, 2023 at the Ngoa-Ekelle Stadium.

The football gods of the South West Region have indeed been faithful to their own. Isle of Hope Sports Academy (ISOHSA) of Limbe that played the opening match of the 2023 National Interpools have emerged champions. This was after they defeated their counterparts from the North West Region, Bafmeng FA 2-0. The kick-off of the game played yesterday July 30, 2023 at the Ngoa-Ekelle Stadium was given by the third Vice President of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT), Arthur Djampir, on behalf of the Federation’s boss. 
The two teams that graduated to the second division following their qualification for the final of the National Interpools took the game very serious knowing that the title of being champions is very prestigious.
The first half was fair with ball changing sides equally. Both teams had their high moments, but Bafmeng United was hit hard when their defender, Parker Bengal Kongnyuy could not continue the game due to injury. He was replaced by Aku Eugene who assisted his mates to keep the score at 0-0 at the end of the first half.
Back from the dressing room, ISOHSA began threatening. About five minutes into the second half, Brandon Babo disappointed the ISOHSA fans by missing a one-on-one with goalkeeper Leonard Ngam of Bafmeng United. But the sorrows of the ISOHSA fans were short-lived as Albert Tiku Egbe scored the opener moments later.
