Cameroon-Iran : Political Commission Meeting Announced

Prime Minister, Joseph Dion Ngute received in audience the newly designated Ambassador of Iran to Cameroon, Amir Hossein Nikbin on June 10, 2022.

Within the framework of strengthening bilateral relations between Cameroon and Iran, the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute on June 10, 2022 granted audience to the newly designated Ambassador of Iran to Cameroon, Amir Hossein Nikbin, during which the two personalities agreed on the organisation of a political commission between the two countries. For the date to still be announced, the Prime Minister and the Ambassador hold that such a meeting would broaden cooperation spheres in diplomatic relations. 
Ambassador Amir Hossein Nikbin in his statement to reporters after the audience said he had wonderful discussion with the Prime Minister and there are a lot of potentials as concerns cooperation ties between Cameroon and Iran. “We reviewed cooperation ties between the two countries. For example, it was decided that a political commission between the two countries be organised in the near future. After that, the mixed commission between Cameroon and Iran will also be held soon. All this is to reinforce cooperation ties, and I will do everything within my capacity to strengthen those ties,” the Ambassador stated. 
With residence in Abidjan, the Ambassador of Iran also covers Gabon and Sao Tome and Principe besides Cameroon. <...
