2022 National “Interpoules” : Limbe To Host Derbies

The draw dividing the 10 regions of the country into two groups took place yesterday at the FECAFOOT headquarters in Yaounde.

Contrary to the last edition of the National “Interpoules” that was hosted in two regions; South West (Limbe) and West (Bafoussam), the coastal town of Limbe will be the lone host of the 2022 edition of the national rendez-vous. The announcement was made in a release signed July 25, 2022 by the interim Secretary General of the Cameroon Football Federation, Blaise Djounang. The release states that the matches will be played in three different sites within Limbe. They include; Limbe Omnisports stadium, Middle Farm stadium and Centenary Stadium. The competition aimed at promoting clubs to the elite two championship, as per the release, is expected to begin in August. 
The draw for the competition was held yesterday July 26, 2022 at the FECAFOOT headquarters in Yaounde. The ten regions were divided in two groups. Group A is made up of the North West, North, Centre, Adamawa and West Regions. Group B, on the other hand, consists of the South West, Far North, South, East and Littoral.
