Ministry of Culture : Newly Appointed Called To Be Patriotic

The Minister of Arts and Culture made the call during the commissioning of newly appointed officials in the ministry last Friday, September 9, 2022.

The Minister of Arts and Culture, Bidoung Mkpatt, has told newly appointed officials in the ministry that promoting and enforcing respect for professional ethics are patriotic duties. In this respect, he has prescribed punctuality, diligence, respect for hierarchy, professionalism, pragmatism, diligence and rigour in the processing of files. He commissioned the recently appointed staff in the ministry on Friday, September 9, 2022 at the esplanade of the National Museum in Yaounde.
During the ceremony, Minister Bidoung Mkpatt commissioned a new Inspector General, Mrs Mbeume nee Ngeh Rekia Nfunfu, appointed by a September 2 presidential decree and new Sub-Directors, Units and Service heads at the Ministry of Arts and Culture appointed by a ministerial decision. While congratulating the newly-promoted, the Minister of Arts and Culture reminded them that their promotion was a consecration of excellence and recognition from hierarchy. He told the newly-appointed that the ascension to a position of responsibility is not an end in itself. According to Minister Bidoung Mkpatt, it is an opportunity for the beneficiary to contribute in a decisive manner, to the growth of the structure that employs them....
