Yaounde : Man Sues Land Seller For Trespassing

The case was filed at the Ekounou Court of First Instance on September 9, 2022.

“I do not want to see you anywhere around my land again. Get my brothers released immediately”. A man whose only name we got as Zanga was heard shouting at the Ekounou Court of First Instance by 9a.m. on September 13, 2022. In effect, three men, including Zanga who from their looks, depict they are obviously from the same family, were spotted in the court premises panting as though they had been chased for hours. Zanga is in court to attend to a hearing after a certain Walter had filed a case on September 9, 2022 accusing him of trespassing in a certain land that was sold some 17 years ago.
During the hearing on September 13, 2022, Cameroon Tribune learned from the parties that Zanga sold land to Walter about 17 years ago at a relatively low price to attend to urgent family issues. Zanga then walked up to the buyer years later to tell him that he is ready to refund the money and get back his land. Walter vehemently refused. This provoked heated disputes between both parties.
