U20 AFCON Qualifiers : Ten New Players Invited

Some 30 players are training at the CAF Excellence Centre in Mbankomo ahead of the UNIFAC tournament in the months ahead.

The Cameroon men’s U20 football team is intensifying preparations ahead of the UNIFFAC tournament at the CAF Excellence Centre in Mbankomo near Yaounde. The team is in camp since October 14, 2022. In order to ensure a solid and highly competitive team, the Assistant coach of the U20 Lions, Yvan Kenmoe, invited ten new players to join the training camp in Mbankomo on Wednesday October 19, 2022. 
They are Fokou Teufack Casimis, Yede Samuel Dilan, Abate Abate Amiase Boris, Pafong Raul, Nsongo Tonfack Bil Dornol, Ngono Effa Stevy Donald, Bryan Bourget Sack and Che Randy Nji. The other two remaining players; Franck Atsama and William Ekanga Lobe, all players of Bamboutos of Mbouda joined the group on Sunday October 23, 2022. The two players came from Bafoussam where they took part in the FECAFOOT Super Cup competition between their club and Coton Sort of Garoua. Bamboutos beat Coton Sport 1-0. 
The new players are coming into the team after ten others had been dropped from the squad for failing to meet up with the expectations of the technical staff. They are expected to convince the coach and the rest of ...
