Elite One : Colombe, Bamboutos Maintain Grip

Day six matches of the national football championship took place in stadiums across the country on Sunday November 13, 2022 with victories for the current leaders.

Colombe of Dja and Lobo and Bamboutos of Mbouda continue to top the Elite One championship. This is the outcome of the sixth playing day of the national Elite One championship that took place in stadiums across the country on Sunday November 13, 2022. Ten matches were played with a total of 21 goals scored in group A and B. Twelve goals were scored in Group B and nine in Group A. In Group A, Canon recorded their first defeat this season as they were beaten 2-1 at the Ngoa-Ekelle Stadium in Yaounde. Still in Yaounde, Colombe of Dja and Lobo beat Eding Sport of Lekié 1-0 to maintain their lead in the group. 
PWD of Bamenda beat Aigle Royal of Menoua 3-0 at the Bamendzi Stadium in Bafoussam. That was the second victory for the Abakwa Boys since the start of this season. The team has now returned to winning ways and will need to work harder to ensure a better performance in the next game. Still in Bafoussam, Coton Sport of Garoua beat Avion Academy 2-0. Stade Renard of Melong played a 0-0 tie with Diko FC at the Reunification Stadium in Douala. UMS of Loum was exempt.
