“Our Aspiration Is To Make A Positive Social Change”

Can you explain what the concept of Branding Africa is all about and what you hope to achieve through it? 
The important thing about the concept of Branding Africa is the alignment in our intentions for the development and positive impact; socially as well as economically for the benefit of all of us in Africa. We are brothers and sisters; the future is actually African. If we look at the opportunities that are coming, our alignment will make us to see and realize the aspiration of Vision 2063.
The African Union has been quite instrumental in taking leadership and being a facilitator of this concept and programme that extremely promotes regional integration and commonality in how we move ideas of development. That is why for a bright Africa, they are a very strategic partner because the aspiration we have is to make a positive social change and to enable and promote trade. There are platforms at the policy-making level and at the level of a country. We are able to realise this because of the policy that have been facilitated. 

How do you extend the concept in all African countries?
The good thing is African countries are receptive, judging by the number of countries.  That is more than 45 countries which have already signed the free trade area agreement which means more than 75 per cent of African countries are receptive to integrating analyses for regional and continental integration so that we can benefit from each of the skills and talents from the trade. 

What is the reason of your presence in South Africa?
We choose to be constitutional here (human rights presence) because this is one place that we presented the total generation of human rights and political prisoners. Some of the human kings were here. This place becomes a hope for human rights, the highest court in South Africa. The Constitutional Court will see some of this very representative of the value in tribes in the Constitution in terms of transparency. So we have changed such as often representation of our past to becoming a sort of hope. This is a sort of promotion of entrepreneurship in such a space of hope.
