Depù : Timely Pointer

Laurindo Aurelio popularly known as Depù was the centre of attraction in the Angola versus Mali game on Monday January 16, 2023 in Oran.  He scored the first two goals for Angola in this match to become the first player to net a brace in the ongoing African Nations Championship in Algeria. These goals were scored thanks to the ability of the striker to timely meet up with crosses and his tact to make the net tremble.  The 23-year-old needed only 12 minutes to open the scores against their Malian opponents.  This goal was equalized in the 23rd minute but Depù was timely to give his side the lead again barely three minutes later.
