CHAN 2022 : Cameroon Ready To Face Niger

Ahead of Tuesday’s encounter, the players are training hard in order to be able to face the challenge.

The Intermediate Lions of Cameroon will play against Niger in their second and last group E game tomorrow Tuesday January 24, 2023 at the Miloud-Hadefi Stadium in Oran. Ahead of the encounter the Lions are training hard in order to be able to face the challenge. As a result, several training sessions were on programme last weekend. The team had two training sessions on Saturday January 21, 2023. The first training session was at the gymnasium of their residence in Oran at 10:00 a.m. This was followed by another training session at the Stade de la réplique of the Olympic Sports Complex of Oran at 5:45 p.m. For two hours, the players had physical exercises, different workshops with or without the ball and also work in front of the goal post. The players and the coach are working out winning strategies in order to ensure the best result on Tuesday. For Coach Alioum Saidou, the team will have to win by all means. The players will need to go the extra mile in order to meet set objectives. 
Sources close to the team say the players will not relent with their training so as to be on top form for the next match. The objective of the team is to qualify for the quarterfinals. They will however need to go past Niger to secure a spot in the next stage of the competition. Concerning the health of the players, they are in good health without any major injuries.
