African Boxing Confederation : Head Office Inaugurated In Yaounde

The headquarters of the institution was unveiled yesterday, February 13, 2023 in Yaounde by the Umar Kremlev, President of the International Boxing Association.

It was a special day for lovers of boxing in Cameroon and Africa in general yesterday February 13, 2023. The event was the official opening of the head office of the African Boxing Confederation (AFBC) in Yaounde by Mr. Umar Kremlev, President of the International Boxing Association (IBA). Speaking at the occasion, the President of the African Boxing Federation, Betrand Magloire Mendouga expressed satisfaction with his election at the helm of the AFBC. He used the occasion to thank the government of Cameroon for the support given him during his election in Algeria. He said immediately after his election he has been able to carry out several activities like the first board meeting in Algiers, organisation of the African boxing championship in Maputo and the Extraordinary Board of the Confederation. He assured that he will work hard to make African boxing reach the level of great boxing nations in the world. 
Umar Kremlev said his mission is to help develop boxing in Africa because the main legends of boxers are originally from Africa. He promised that he will continue to help children from Africa. “I am sure that together we will make boxing in Africa even greater,” ...
