Elite One Exciting : Fixtures On Programme

The 13th playing day of the national football championship will take place in stadiums across the country this weekend.

The MTN Elite One Championship will enter the 13th playing day this weekend with exciting matches in stadiums across the country.  A total of five matches are on the agenda. From all indications the competition will be tough as each side will be seeking to improve on their performance in order to secure a comfortable position on the league table. 
In group B, Young Sports Academy of Bamenda (YOSA) will play against Union Douala in the first game of day 13 billed for Saturday February 18, 2023 at the Mbouda Municipal Stadium. During the 12th playing day YOSA beat Bamboutos of Mbouda 2-1, putting an end to Bamboutos’ 11 endless win run. YOSA who are on the danger zone with 12 points, two wins, two defeats and one draw will be struggling hard to win so as to come out of the relegation waters. Union Douala are third in group B with 17 points recording two wins, two defeats and one draw during their last five games. The Douala team will need to win to maintain their position on the table. 
The other day 13 matches will take place on Sunday February 19, 2023. In group A two matches have been programmed for the Ngoa-Ekelle Stadium in Yaounde. Canon Yaounde will take on Avion Academy and Colombe of Dja and Lobo will play against PWD of Bamenda. Colombe is third in group A with one win, two draws and two defeats in their last five games. PWD Bamenda are in the danger zone with one win, one draw and three defeats. Colombe will be out to go beyond their virgin draw...
