Three-Year Emergency Plan: PM Prescribes Respect Of Deadlines

Prime Minister, Head of Government, Philemon Yang yesterday visited project sites in Yaounde to assess the progress recorded so far.

The Three-year Emergency Plan projects are on course not only in the nation’s capital but also in other parts of the country. After visiting project sites in Ebolowa last week, the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Philemon Yang yesterday February 14, inspected project sites in Yaounde where he assessed progress of works on various sites. The inspection visit took the Prime Minister, Head of Government who is also the Chairperson of the Follow-up Committee for the implementation of the contingency plan, to the Yaounde General Hospital where rehabilitation works were reported at 5 per cent. Here, the Minister of Public Health, André Mama Fouda assured the PM that the job will be completed latest December 20, 2017 with a refurbished structure handed to the government.
At the Etoudi neighbourhood where a 6,000 m3 capacity refrigerated warehouse is being constructed, the project is 94 per cent completed with the authorities of the Ministry of Livestock, Fisheries and Animal Husbandry stating that the facility will soon be handed over.
