CAF Champions League : Coton Sport Prepares Second Challenge

Ahead of Friday’s encounter, the Garoua team is earmarking strategies in order to ensure a good performance in the competition.

One week after their first Champions League match against South African side, Mamelodi Sundowns, at the Roumde Adjia Stadium in Garoua, Coton Sport will be back on the pitch again. This time Coton Sport of Garoua will take on Al Hilal of Sudan in the second playing day still at the Roumde Adjia Stadium on Friday February 24, 2023. 
Ahead of the encounter, the Garoua team is preparing hard in order to ensure a good performance in the competition. During the first game, Coton Sport lost (1-3) to visiting Mamelodi side. Following the challenge ahead, Coton Sport is earmarking strategies in order to avoid errors during next Friday’s game. With the return of two foreign based players; Congo’s Reich Kokolo and Cameroon’s Sidik who were nursing injuries and were absent from the group during the first game, hopes are high that the team will be out for business. The match against Al Hilal of Sudan will not be an easy one for Coton Sport given that Al Hilal are already three points ahead with two matches played. Considered as a difficult group, Daouda Kamilou and his team mates are promising to be more offensive and determined during the match on Friday. Training takes place at the Coton Sport Stadium in Ngalbidje, Garoua. The players are training under the supervision of Gabriel Haman.
