Basketball Final Four : FAP, UDLA Top First Leg

The first leg of the three-legged Final Four stage of the Natio nal Basketball Championshipis over. FAP Basketball Men and Université de Douala (UDLA) Basketball Women topped this leg after winning all three matches. The matches started on Friday April 14, 2023 and ended on Sunday April 16, 2023 at the Gymnase College de la Salle Douala. In the women’s category, UDLA are on a good footing after winning all three matches with six points. During the first playing day on Friday, UDLA overpowered defending champions, Overdose Up Station, 75-68. Looking at the calibre of both opponents, it was the top match of the day and why not that of the entire leg. As expected, it was electrifying as both sides showed eagerness to win. At the end, UDLA carried the day with a seven-point difference. During the second playing day of this first leg, UDLA beat Battiston Foundation 73-70. UDLA emerged victorious with just a three-point difference telling of the steadfastness of the Battiston team. In the third playing day, UDLA had a seemingly easy ride over FAP (71-57), to complete their unbeaten run in this leg.
