Diaspora : Toko Ekambi Bounces Back

He scored a double in Rennes 4-0 win over Troyes on Sunday after several weeks of drought. Moukoudi equally shone as he won the Greek championship over the weekend.

It was a fruitful end of the week for some Cameroonian players plying their trade for football outfits abroad. Cameroonian striker, Karl Toko Ekambi was the man for the job in Rennes' victory on Sunday against Troyes (4-0) in the Ligue 1. Theate Arthur opened the flood gates for Rennes at the 14th minute. Benjamin Bourigeaud scored the second and Karl Toko wrapped up the score at the 70th and 74th with his double. The striker that has been in a very inconsistent form has thus given positive signals with this recent double. It is Toko Ekambi’s third goal for Rennes in 14 matches in the Ligue 1 this season and this tells of his performance since he joined the club on loan in January this year.
Cameroon's Harold Moukoudi became Greek champions with AEK Athens FC after their 4-0 win against Volos on Sunday May 14, 2023 for the final day of the Greek Super League. AEK Athens FC won their 13th domestic title with 83 points, ahead of second-placed Panathinaikos with 78 points.
