Basketball : Dulcy Fankam Gets Dual Distinction

The 23-year-old Cameroonian was recently named Female and Women’s Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year by the American Athletic Conference.

Cameroon is known for being the home country of several super stars and the list is growing up as the days go by. The University of South Florida's Dulcy Fankam Mendjiadeu is another Cameroonian pearl that is tipped to shake the world in her basketball career. She was recently named the dual winner of 2022-23 Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year and Women's Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year by the American Athletic Conference
The awards are handed to players who have distinguished themselves in the running season both as athletes and academically. The distinctions are equally awarded to sports development oriented students and athletes.
These latest honours are well deserved, at least, for basketball lovers and others who have been following the basketball Lioness recently. She has bagged several others both individually and collectively.
