From her height and size, no one could imagine the strength of Baba Matia Marie Céline. The 19-year-old judoka who hails from the East Region of Cameroon appears to be a thorn in the flesh of other judokas in her category. During the Francophonie Games in Kishahsa she won gold in the -52kg category. The courageous judoka beat Florina Badiceanu from Romania to win the gold medal in the event that took place at the gymnassium of the Tata Raphaël Sports Complex in Kinshasa.
