National Elite Handball Championship : FANZ, FAP Champions

The Yaounde Multipurpose Sports Complex was the venue of the finals of the 2023 edition of the play offs of the National Elite Handball Championship that took place at the gymnasium of the National Public Works School in Yaounde on August 20, 2023. Organised by the Cameroon Handball Federation (FECAHAND) the competition brought together the best teams from the national handball championship. It was an opportunity for Yaounde inhabitants to discover new techniques in the sport. For five days the public had an enthusiasm young Cameroonians display rich talents in sports. In the women’s final, FANZ beat FAP 30-24 to grab the championship title. 
The Coach of FANZ Beke Beke  Handball Club of Yaounde expressed satisfaction with the performance of his players.  He said his team prepared well for any eventualities. He said the next target will be the Cup of Cameroon finals. He said the FANZ Handball women will continue to prepare hard in order to win the double this year. Mossy Solle of FANZ handball women said the success of the team was due to hard work. She said throughout the season the team has shown proof of hard work and perseverance that has enabled her and team mates to start reaping fruits of victory.
