ITT-Table Tennis Africa Senior Championship : Sarah Hanffou Wins Silver

Curtains dropped at the 26th edition of the ITTF-table Tennis Africa Senior Championship that took place in Tunisia, on September 17, 2023.  A total of 16 teams from the continent took part in the competition organised by the ITTF-African Championships. For one week, lovers of table tennis in Africa and the world at large watched young African players display rich talents in the sport. Cameroonian athletes put up an excellent performance in the competition. 
At the end of the competition, the Cameroon men’s table tennis team finished on the sixth spot out of 16 teams. 
From that result, the men’s table team is on course for qualification for the World Championship in Busan, Korea, in February 2024. The team is number one on the waiting list in case of withdrawal by a team. In the women’s competition, Sarah Hanffou won silver in the women’s doubles.
