Road to BAL 2024 : FAP Sails To Elite 16

The Cameroonian club finished second in the Group B, West Division-battle behind Bangui Sporting Club.

Cameroons representative in the ongoing qualifiers of the 2024 edition of the Basketball Africa League, Forces Armées et Police (FAP) Basketball Club of Yaounde, still have their chances of making it to yet another final phase of the competition. This is after qualifying for the Elite 16 round of the qualifiers. The Cameroonian club finished second in Group B of the West Division with two wins and one loss. The club is behind, Bangui Sporting Club of Central Africa that defeated FAP on Thursday October 12, 2023 (88-87). 
Although FAP led by as many as 15 points at some point, Bangui Sporting Club never backed down to send a statement out of their intentions in the race for one of the three tickets on offer for West Division teams for the Basketball Africa League Season 4. FAP had given a strong signal in their first two games but playing Bangui Sporting Club was nothing like beating Espoir Basket Club and BC Virunga.
Both Bangui Sporting Club and FAP advance to the West Division Elite 16 last qualifying round of the basketball Africa league.
