MTN Elite Two : Championship Opens Today

The 2023/2024 MTN Elite Two championship kicks off today, Wednesday October 25, 2023. Two matches have been programmed for the opening. The Olembe Annex A Stadium has been chosen as the venue for the matches. In Pool A, Tonnerre Kalara Club of Yaounde will take on Renaissance of Ngoumou as from 1:30 p.m. while in Pool B, Eding FC of Lekié will play against AS FAP of Yaounde. The other day one matches will take place on October 28, 2023.
It should be noted that Racing FC of Bafoussam might not take part in the MTN Elite Two championship this season due to lack of funds. Reports say the President of the Board of Directors for Racing Bafoussam, Alphonse Kouagne, envisages dissolution of the club if no immediate solution is gotten to improve on the finances of the club. 
The MTN Elite Two championship resumes after the draw of the 2023/2024 MTN Elite Two championship October 20, 2023 at the headquarters of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) in Tsinga, Yaounde.
