Showcasing Presidential Activities : PRC TV Takes Another Step

Available on play store, it highlights the advancements of President Paul Biya in various domains for the past 41 years at the helm of the State.

A broadcast channel known as PRC TV, which presents the achievements of the President of the Republic throughout his 41 years in power went public yesterday November 6, 2023. The application can be downloaded on Play Store. It was officially launched on November 4, 2022 but given a new scope on November 6, 2023 through the special programme dubbed “Special Evening, 41 Years of President Biya’s Supreme Magistracy,” that began at 7:00 pm and witnessed the intervention of 21 panellists. They highlighted the achievements of the Head of State in the political, economy, social, and diplomatic domains. 
It begins by presenting the touristic potentials of Cameroon such as the tree on the rock (popularly called the mystery tree) in Mezeze, the water of hippopotamus in Ndelélé, beauty of Nkoladom and the Lobé falls in the Ocean Division of the South Region. Interesting sites in other regions, museums and places that bring out the cultural diversity of Cameroon could be seen at the beginning of the video. Then comes some inspirational declarations of the Head of State on different occasions, with particular attention given to his maiden oath of office in which he said “I do so swear” before legislators, officials and Cameroonians in 1982. 
In the political domain, some six panellists intervened to present the political evolution of the New Deal. Amongst them are Senator Mbella Moki, Prof. Elvis Ngolle Ngolle (Coordinator of the CPDM Academy), Prof. Aboya Manesse and Prof Mathias Eric Owona Nguini, respectively Vice Rectors of the Universities of Yaounde II and I. Four main aspects are highlighted by these panellists. Firstly, President Biya is credited for promoting democracy and multiparty politics. This is backed by the fact that he came to power when there was one political party in the country and today there are over 300 political parties.
