CAN 2023 : Indomptable Lions In Côte d’Ivoire

The special flight transporting the Lions arrived at the Yamoussoukro International Airport yesterday, Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at exactly 10:17 a.m.

The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon have arrived in their base in Yamoussoukro, Côte d’Ivoire where they will play the group matches of the 34th edition of the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations. The special flight transporting the Lions arrived at the Yamoussoukro international Airport yesterday, Wednesday January 10, 2024 at exactly 10:17 a.m. (Cameroon time).The group led by the President of the Cameroon Football Federation, Samuel Eto’o was received on arrival by Cameroon’s Ambassador to Côte d’Ivoire H.E. Marie Yvette Koloko epse Assene Nkou. The Cameroonian diplomat assured the journalists that all necessary measures have been taken to ensure that the players have an agreeable stay in Côte d’Ivoire. 
The national team players were equally welcomed on arrival by officials from the Local Organising Committee (COCAN), the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and administrative authorities of the birthplace of Félix Houphouët-Boigny, the founding father of modern Côte d'Ivoire. Still at the Yamoussoukro International Airport, the Indomitable Lions were also entertained by a huge crowd of Cameroonian supporters before heading off to their hotel.
