Livestock, Fisheries : Successful End Of Bolster Project In NW

Phase One of The Livestock and Fisheries Project officially ends with major achievements in transforming the sector.
The first phase of the Livestock and Fisheries Development project (LIFDEP) has officially ended in the North West Region. This was revealed by North West Governor Adolphe Lele Lafrique after chairing its 16th steering Committee meeting at Ayaba Hotel Bamenda on August 29, 2024. The project which was described as successful ended with alot to show in the transformation of the livestock and Fisheries sectors in the region.
Some of the achievements highlighted included amongst others, the various technical, social, market and production infrastructure put in place, the capacity building actions undertaken and their effects, the facilitation of the formation and function of various networks of producer organizations to ensure sustainability. Governor Lele Lafrique mentioned that these achievements show that the activities were executed as planned proven by the significant and visible results despite the prevailing socio-political and security situations in the region.
Governor Lele Lafrique revealed that the quality and content of the documents appraised during the meeting by stakeholders indicated that the project created a lot of impact in communities.
