Infrastructural Development: New Jewel in Yaounde’s Event Scene

The banquet hall code-named “L’Eméraude” was officially opened to the public by the Governor of the Centre Region, Naseri Paul Bea on June 6, 2025, in Yaounde.
The Governor of the Centre Region, Naseri Paul Bea inaugurated a new banquet hall code named “L’Emeraude” on June 6, 2025, at the Mballa II neighbourhood in the Yaounde I sub-division. The complex is located just a few kilometres from the Nlonkak roundabout, specifically in an area known as Dragage. “L’Eméraude” is a very spacious building, and constitutes three main halls. The largest can accommodate about 500 people, the smaller hall seats 150, and the smallest hall is designed for 80 guests. There is equally a hall for conferences and work meetings with a sitting capacity of 50 persons. These different halls can be used for marriages, conferences, birthdays, anniversaries and more. Beyond the ample space, the building is equipped with a dedicated staff that provides catering services for all events, along with a robust sound system. It also serves as a unique relaxation spot, offering body care services such as manicures and pedicures.
