Good Governance in NW: Civil Society Ready To Participate

Leaders of civil society organisations were drilled on November 14, 2025 in a workshop organised by the Office of the Public Independent Conciliator for the North West Region.
Civil society organisations in the North West Region are henceforth expected to through advocacy, contribute in deepening the culture of accountability, transparency, citizen empowerment to ensure that the Regional Assembly and local councils deliver better services to their users and the population in general. In its continuous efforts to ensure good governance, leadership of integrity and better service delivery in Regional Assembly and local councils of the Region, the Office of the Public Independent Conciliator (PIC) organised the workshop on right-based advocacy for civil society organisations of the North West Region. At the end of the workshop, stronger partnerships were established among civil society organisations and between the Civil society organisations and the Office of the PIC thereby laying the foundation for a joint oversight and inclusive governance in thr North West Region.
