The Cameroonian delegation left Yaounde for Ouagadougou yesterday, April 12, 2026, ahead of the event that begins today, April 13, 2026, in Burkina Faso.
The inaugural edition of the Yennenga International Women’s Cycling Tour begins today, April 13, 2026, and runs until April 19, 2026, across the diverse landscapes of Burkina Faso. Cameroon is taking part in this prestigious competition that will help showcase the nation's rising talents in women's cycling. The Cameroonian delegation left Yaounde yesterday, April 12, 2026, for Ouagadougou, to compete in this event. The delegation consists of four determined riders: Thérèse Diamelia Obiloma, Mariolle Kengne Feudjio, Rita Mafoma, and Florianne Bengono; each with strong capabilities to shine. Three officials are also part of the delegation, with Judith Laure Kengne serving as Head of Delegation, guiding the team with experience and determination. But before this departure, the flag was solemnly handed to the Head of Delegation, Judith Laure Kengne during a ceremonial event at the Cameroon Cycling Federation’s headquarters in Yaounde on April 9, 2026.
