Cameroon’s High Commissioner to Canada, H.E. Ngole Philip Ngwese, has positioned the country as an economic investment hub and a gateway linking West and Central Africa. He was speaking on May 20, 2026 at the Preston Event Centre in Ottawa, Canada, as the country marked its 54th National Day. The event brought together more than 400 guests, including heads of diplomatic missions, Canadian officials, and members of the Cameroonian diaspora. In his address, the High Commissioner highlighted Cameroon’s diversified economy, its investment code, and the 2014 Agreement on the Promotion and Protection of Foreign Investments, creating a favourable environment for business. He encouraged Canadian operators to invest in Cameroon and noted that Canada remains a dependable partner since diplomatic relations were established in 1962. At the event, H.E.
